Compressor Training Keeps Millwrights Skilled and Productive

We at the Southeastern Carpenters Regional Council know how to keep a jobsite operating smoothly and safely. We are trained, tested, and credentialed for work in oil refineries, chemical plants, gas pipelines, natural gas processing units, and more.

Through our compressor training program, technical skills are honed for productive performance in exploration, development, drilling, production, and decommissioning projects.

The SECRC is home to one of North America’s most comprehensive compressor training programs.

COMPREHENSIVE COMPRESSOR TRAINING

Our 40-hour Advanced Reciprocal Compressor training class covers every level of compressors: Basic knowledge of compressors and how they work, disassembly, problem diagnosis, and reassembly to exact specifications. Before millwrights are cleared to take the advanced compressor course, they must display proficiency in the basic 40-hour Reciprocal Compressor Training class.

As a result of our compressor training program, our millwrights are prepared to expertly install, construct, repair, and maintain multi-million-dollar production and refinery equipment such as stationary and industrial engines, compressors, and pumps.
