Dr. Lorna Myers donates the royalties of her book, PSYCHOGENIC NON-EPILEPTIC SEIZURES: A GUIDE to Epilepsy Alliance America each year. Epilepsy Alliance America manages a scholarship program for students with a diagnosis of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) who are pursuing higher level education at a university or college or a trade, technical or professional school, using the funds from Dr. Myers. Awards are based on the quality of applications through a competitive scoring system that balances need with achievement. Epilepsy Alliance America reserves the right to determine the amount of and number of scholarships given annually. At this time this is a one-time award. Awards are restricted to residents of the United States.
