Team Captain’s Job Description

The role of a Team Captain plays a significant part in the success of the Family Fun Run/Walk. The primary responsibility of the Team Captain is to recruit people to form a team of five individuals, one of which may be you.

As a Team Captain, you have four easy steps to complete:

STEP ONE:

Recruit co-workers, friends, family members, etc. to walk or run and encourage them to secure donations, which will benefit the EAWCP.

STEP TWO:

Provide team members’ names, addresses and phone numbers to EAWCP by completing the Team Captain Registration Form.

STEP THREE:

Once your team is registered you will receive sponsorship brochures and member envelopes. Distribute event sponsorship brochures and member envelopes to each team member. EAWCP also has event posters and brochures to display in your company and/or community. For additional copies please call 1-800-361-5885.

STEP FOUR:

Collect sponsorship forms/envelopes and monies from team members and bring them to the Team Captain Registration Table on the day of the event.
