Both Pittsburgh's Asian and Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander communities have grown greatly in the past couple of years. In fact, the Asian community is one of the fastest growing in the region. Older Americans offer support and major contributions to their families, communities, and society. In the Pittsburgh Metro Area, we have a healthy population of citizens over 60 years of age. Many in this group have served their country in the armed forces and are still active in the labor force.
