Pittsburgh’s many neighborhoods each have their own unique way of making them a special place to call home.
The Southside of Pittsburgh sits on the bank of the Monongahela River and is home to some of the city’s most active nightlife destinations as well as artist galleries, independent shops and advertising agencies.
The Strip District is located on the “city side” of the Allegheny River and features the city’s original and vibrant wholesale food and merchandise district along with many up and coming lofts, apartments and museums.
Shadyside is located east of Downtown Pittsburgh where you’ll find upscale dining, shopping, nightlife and living. Shadyside’s business district is centrally located in the East End and can be reached from most areas of the city in a only a few minutes.
Greenfield is a historic neighborhood that calls itself “a suburb in the city.” With great views of downtown and proximity to Pittsburgh’s East End and Southside. Greenfield is a great combination of family neighborhood and city living.
Regent Square is a historic neighborhood and business district that resides next to Pittsburgh’s largest public park. Charming tree-lined streets and a burgeoning entertainment and nightlife scene.
Oakland is home to several of Pittsburgh’s many universities, colleges and institutions of higher learning. As a result, the neighborhood is always teeming with activity and events.
Pittsburgh’s Northside is located on the northern shores of the Allegheny and Ohio rivers and is home to the six-time Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers and five-time World Series champion Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition to being home to two of Pittsburgh’s three sports teams, the Northside also includes the Mexican War Streets historic district.
