About the Richfield Training Center

The Northeast Ohio Carpenters’ Training Center is considered one of the top carpenters apprenticeship training facilities in the country. Northeast apprentices receive hands-on instruction, including the use of the industry’s latest technologies. The Richfield Campus has over 58,000 square feet of indoor training areas and 28,000 square feet of outdoor training areas which includes individual shops for each building trades program: Commercial Carpenter, Residential Carpenter, Millwright, Pile Driver, Floorlayer, and Cabinetmaker, as well as classrooms and a state-of-the-art technology learning center. There are nearly 1,100 Apprentices enrolled at the Richfield Training Center.

The training center serves union carpenter apprentices and journeymen from 27 Ohio counties and four counties in West Virginia.

The center also offers year-round advanced training classes for journeymen to keep up with the latest methods and technologies.
