Ohio Carpenters’ Joint Apprenticeship & Training Program

Carpenters Working

Earn A Degree

Today’s marketplace offers well-educated carpenters a wide variety of career opportunities

As part of the four-year apprenticeship program, apprentices also earn credit toward an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Applied Industrial Technology from Cuyahoga Community College at no additional cost to them! College representatives work closely with students to develop an educational plan tailored to the skills and knowledge designed to make the most of a career in carpentry.

Those with degrees hold the potential to become project managers, project estimators, construction foremen, supervisors and superintendents. Upon graduation, journeymen may go on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
